Three French guys came to the USA and were inspired by the chopper culture. Martel takes up camera and photographs; Lorelle and Blanc take up pen and write. Their work documents the chopper lifestyle in late 1970's. Blanc ponders social mathematics with the question: Does the year
1954 (Elvis, Hells Angels) + the year 1969 (Peter Fonda,
marijuana) = 1978? That question seems to be answered in every photograph and in every word not by three Frenchmen but
by three French astronauts encountering alien beings on a foreign planet for the first time. A lot of faces, places, and bike
art. At least 100 photos of inspiration. One of my favorite finds. $45 USD
