FORMAL BIBLIOGRAPHY:

Lennon, John, et. al., Aspen 7. Spring-Summer. The British Box. In 15 sections. New York: Roaring Fork Press. Compiled and edited by Mario Amaya; Designed by John Kosh; Box cover by Richard Smith. 1970

THIS ITEM IS INCOMPLETE. ONE OF THE NECESSARY "SECTIONS" IS MISSING.

The very important John Lennon records ARE present and are in mint mint condition.

The section missing from this box is "The Lennon Diary 1969."

Though not photographed, the "order form" which is labeled section 3, is present and thus counts as one section. Oddly, there are 2 identical order forms present in this box.

Also, please do not buy this set for the "box" section as it is only good minus.

STARTING WITH:

AN EXTENSIVE CITATION OF THE VERY IMPORTANT RECORDS:

Contained within a black and white paper wrapper labeled section 9 are found 2 SQUARE-SHAPED 8" X 8" black plastic sheets. These are "soundsheets."  Each soundsheet has 2 sides like a normal record. On SIDE ONE of each soundsheet there are instructions reading: "To play, place this soundsheet on top of a regular record. This gives it a firm base." These soundsheets are pristine. Only touched by me to photograph. Obviously never played or handled by anyone else, ever.

Nobody ever has had a section 15. It does not exist. My research shows that in it's original first edition, 1st state, 1st printing...which this is...the aspen #7 british box never had 15 sections ...only 14..unless of course the second order form which i mentioned above is the 15th element! What i am saying is that this box would be complete with 14 elements, i have 13.
