Not Issued in Dustjacket. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 150 pages. The book is in heavy-duty
green pebbled cloth over bevelled boards, with gilt lettering and decorations on the spine, a central ornamental cross embossed
in gilt on the front board, and a central ornament blind stamped on the rear board. The endpapers are of coated brown paper.
Firm and tight binding, no pages loose, missing, folded or torn. Pages are only lightly age-toned. Note rubbing
on corners and backstrap. Previous owner's signature large on front endpaper. Also previous bookseller code written inside.
Despite my dissection of this book's defects it has been one of my favorites as OBJECT. The beveled boards, the density,
and the texture of this tome make it a pleasure to hold in one hands. $200 USD.
